The Year In Books : December 2017.
I love books and I love reading but when you are busy books go by the way side, I had dropped from reading at least a book or two a month to maybe three in the whole year. So back in January I came across The year in books on Laura's blog Circle Of Pine Trees. It is a little challenge to read a book a month and share a little about the last one you read and your choice for the coming month. All the details about it are on Laura's blog and there is some great reading inspiration if you check out the #theyearinbooks hashtag on twitter or Instagram.
Since January I have read 12 books so far and this is my choice for my Christmas reading. The farmers last year bought me The Shadow Sister by Lucinda Riley as part of my Christmas present and all I can say was I was hooked at page 1. The story was totally gripping and even though it was well 600 pages I flew through it. Then over the year going to work I listened to her other two books in the Seven Sister series and they were equally good, they are books that stay with you long after you have finished reading them. So when her new one came out in November I had to get it and it's my December choice for my year in books. I haven't started it yet but today is the perfect day. The rest of the country seems to be getting snow while the east coast is just getting lots of rain, I have finished outside, have my pj's and warm jumper on and after lunch am going to start it.
What is everyone else reading at the moment ?
