A Christmas Digital Detox.
We are nearly there now, nearly time for the jolly man in the big red suit to arrive and spread some Christmas magic to everyone. I have been really enjoying seeing everyone's snow photos we on the East coast of Ireland haven't been so lucky and all we have had was very cold rain instead. I have also just started Sara Tasker's four week Instagram course Gloom and grow, I have loved her other courses and found them a huge inspiration but I feel I am just drifting a little at the moment. I have lost my place in this world of social media and haven't got a path or plan to follow. Then to top it all my Instagram isn't working as it should so I need to take a little step back I think and have a little look at where I want to go and what exactly I want to focus on.
I love blogging and taking photos and I used to love Twitter so what I need is to take some time and work out a routine for myself. I want 2018 to be more organised, I want to enjoy it more and now I have this new blog I want to make sure I give it as much focus as I can. I want it to be a place where we have a sense of community, where we can chat and share knowledge. I want to focus more on the taking of pictures rather than what is currently the in trend on Instagram and I want to go back to my Twitter.
A Christmas digital detox I think is much needed and my two weeks off are the ideal time to do this. I will still be taking my photos and sharing them on my Instagram for Gloom and Grow , there is a link to it at the bottom of this post. I will still be using my Instagram stories but that will possibly be all I will do over the next two weeks while I get ready for the coming year. My plan will be to spend the two weeks getting post ideas together, get a post routine in place and get some posts written.
I am really looking forward to starting 2018 and to starting the year in a good routine. So I will see you all on Instagram or Twitter and back here on January 1st. Have a good Christmas and I hope Santa is good to you all.
Let the Detox begin.
